Who it fits
The Seltos has the smallest footprint. It’s the pick for older garages, downtown Kennewick or Richland parking, and a right-sized daily driver. The Sportage steps up in length and cabin space without three-row length, and it covers most compact SUV days around here. The Sorento is a midsize with an optional third row, for when you need the seats without Telluride width. And the Telluride is the biggest step (9.6″ longer and 3.5″ wider than the Sorento) for the most three-row and family room.
Garage and parking fit
Measure your garage door opening and depth before you fall for a sticker price. Rails and roof racks add height. Bring a tape measure, or the car that already fits, and we’ll park the new one right next to it on the Pasco lot.
Third-row fit
Third-row seats on paper don’t always fit grown-ups. Sit in the Sorento and the Telluride when both are here. Don’t buy length from a table alone.

Which Kia SUV fits my family?
Count seats first, then measure your garage. For five seats, the 2027 Seltos (174.4 inches long) and 2027 Sportage (184.4) are the easiest to park. For a third row you’ll use now and then, the 2027 Sorento (189.6) seats 6 or 7. For a third row you’ll use every week, the 2027 Telluride (199.2) seats 7 or 8.

Will a Telluride fit my garage if a Sportage does?
Not always. The 2027 Telluride is about 15″ longer and 5″ wider than the Sportage. Measure first, then drive the Telluride if it’s close.
Sorento or Telluride for third row?
Sit in both. The Telluride is the bigger box, and the Sorento can be enough if you only use the third row now and then.
Should I get the Sportage Hybrid or the Sorento Hybrid?
Pick by rows first. The Sportage Hybrid is a 2-row compact, and the Sorento Hybrid adds a small 3rd row. The EPA rates the 2027 Sportage Hybrid at 41 mpg combined with FWD and 35 with AWD, vs 37 and 34 for the Sorento Hybrid. If you rarely carry more than five, start with the Sportage.
